Despite the loss of the Berry Creek camp, Okizu has persevered, hosting oncology campers and their families at rented sites.
In 2024, Okizu purchased a 160-acre ranch that will become its new permanent home. The new facility will be capable of serving more people and providing a safe, comfortable experience for all. Ownership will empower Okizu to once again operate in the margin of excellence and grow to meet demand throughout Northern California.
To support this vitally important homecoming, Okizu has launched Building On: A Campaign for Okizu’s Future, a fundraising campaign to construct camp facilities in Okizu’s new permanent home.
